The World Health Organization (WHO) acknowledges nearly 15% of couples of childbearing ages worldwide suffer from infertility, with majority cases from developing countries. Nearly 30% of infertility factors are associated with males, about 40% with both males and females, and approximately 20–70% with females. Women, therefore, play more important roles in infertility.
